The Statham Library is a part of the Piedmont Regional Library System and a member of the PINES Library system of the State of Georgia. The Statham Library offers many non-fiction and fiction titles for all ages, books on tape, and movies. Internet access and computers are also available at the Library.
 

The Statham Library offers Children's Story Time each month. Please contact the Library for dates and times. The Library also offers a Vacation Reading Program during the summer each year that lasts between four to six weeks. During the Vacation Reading Program, the children read books for points and get to listen to a special story teller each week. Again, please contact the Library for the dates of the Vacation Reading Program.
The Library has an adult book club that meets once a month, usually on the fourth Thursday. The book club selects a book for all members to read and then meets to discuss various topics related to the selected book. Everyone is invited to join in the fun and excitement of the Statham Library Book Club.
FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY
There is an active Friends of the Library group. The Statham Friends of the Library group is now a 501(3)C non-profit organization. Your donations to the Friends are tax deductible, and all donations are used for the benefit of the Statham Library. Valentine Basket Raffle
The Statham Friends of the Library is sponsoring a raffle for a Valentine Basket full of Valentine Goodies, including candies, movies, soaps, and Gift Certificate for the Olive Garden. The value of the basket is more than $75. Tickets are $1 each or $5 for 10 tickets. Tickets are available at the Statham Library and Statham City Hall. The drawing will be held February 13 at 4:00 p.m. You do not have to be present. Proceeds will be used for projects for the Statham Library.
The Friends of the Library will hold a meeting on Thursday, February 2, at 1:30 p.m. at the Statham Community Center. Election of officers will be held. The meeting is open to all.
Membership in Statham Friends of the Library is a one-time $5 fee. Please join our group to support the Statham Library and special projects designated for Statham Library.
