View O-21-06 Veto by Mayor Piper
June 23, 2021 – Mayor Piper vetoed Ordinance O-21-06 titled “Livestock in Residential Areas” just four business days after the ordinance passed on June 15, 2021 by a 3-2 vote on June 15, 2021 by Statham City Council.
Pursuant to the Statham Charter Section 2.08(b), the Mayor may elect to veto an ordinance previously passed by the City Council. The vote to uphold the Mayor’s veto will be on the July, 10 2021 Regular City Council Agenda, and may be overturned by a 4-1 Council vote
